Protocol
Invariants, gas budget and the timelock. Live parameters are on the protocol page.
Invariants
- The ledger holds exactly the claims it owes, per currency: unvested + claimable + reserve. Checked by an invariant test over random swaps and time.
- A swap pays at most 30 bps in royalties.
- No caller can make an honest hook fail by starving it of gas (fuzzed over gas limits).
- A pool can only be initialised with the hook stack through createDam.
Gas
On a fork of the chain, a swap through a house pool with all four house hooks used about 300,000 gas. The first swap of a day on a pool costs more, about 500,000, because it opens new royalty buckets and hook state.
Timelock
Owner functions (verifier, resolver, burnBuy routes, the $V4M address) move through a 48-hour timelock once deployment ends. See the queue.
